Ok, to communicate by TCP/IP, I am attaching two programs, myservice.cpp and myconnect.cpp. You need to run the service first on one machine, then you can run as many clients as you want on other machines. It forks a child to handle every client. Let me know if the attachments don't work and I will send directly.
I sent a program to the list recently for opening a serial port and setting the baud rate, timeout, let me know if you can't find it and I will send it direct. I do not have anything for USB, but you can not hook two masters together. You could use two USB-serial adaptors and NULL modem cable to communicate by USB. Well, maybe somebody else knows more about what you could do with USB. I have not programmed the other bus, but, there is an example online to read the on-board temperature sensor which is on that bus I believe. Hope this helps, Don. On 6/23/06,
