Hello,

The ts10 kernel added support for the TS-7300, fixed the page_alloc
bug, and modified the ep93xx serial driver to invert the RTS and DTR
signals at initialization.
Upgrading to ts10 will fix the page allocation bug and fix the
initial state of the handshake lines on COM1. The other changes
won't affect you...

This is a good aproach in the embedded world. Typically reliability
is one of the most important issues in the embedded market. If you
are seeing a problem then apply the fix, but if everything is
running fine then I would be conservative about upgrading to new
revisions of software(espicially the kernel).

We try to post on this list when a new kernel is released as well
as all of the changes we have made. If you are interested or want
more information about the changes that were made let me know and
I will give you more details...

This is correct. Where did you download this ts10 kernel from? I'll
ensure this fix is applied to the tarball so other users don't run
into this same problem...
