Hello,
For the past few weeks I have been playing with a 4x20 LCD screen and
the little test lcdmesg.c that TS has put out (mostly modifying it to
write to the LCD screen correctly utilizing all 4 lines in order) and I
am thinking about making a module for it to be able to use the screen
as a monitor to get a bash shell on. I do not wish to go through this,
and I was wondering if anyone has developed or knows of a driver for
this purpose, or at least somethign I can modify; all that I have found
was for serial/parallel LCD screens. I am currently using a modified
TSkernel that is a bit lighter than the stock one, but I can throw in
more support if necessary, I am also using the Debian filesystem. I
have seen a BSD TS-7200 do this, and if thats what it will take, I do
not mind moving over to BSD.
