Hi all (and especially Jesse Off),
I recently purchased a TS-7300. I was especially attracted by the onboard
vga port and the 8 MB video ram. That should be able to handle 1024x768
with 32bpp color in X, right? How high can the resolution go (in theory
and in practice)? 1152x864 at some lower bpp?
I remember back in the day, I set up X on a pentium 75 with a 4 MB video
card, and I was able to get 1024x768 with 16bpp.
Does anyone have a working XF86Config-4 / XF86Config / xorg.conf file they
reply to in this list? It would be even better if the embeddedarm.com
website had this as one of their downloads. I ask because setting up
video modes X can be a big pain when you don't have the hardware
autodetection available that comes with the newest Linux distros.
Thanks in advance,
:)
