The on-board flash should work (and your kernel does manage to read
the redboot partition table), but I suspect that it doesn't manage to
mount your root filesystem because you don't have YAFFS file system
support in your kernel.

The compact flash does appear to not detect the card on your board.
Can you compile without SCSI_DEBUG and send another boot log?
Alessandro (CC) wrote this code, he might be able to help you with it.
