It looks like you missed something out of the middle.  Brain getting ahead of 
fingers?

Anyway if the middle bit was base dev chain on uClibc, try scratchbox 0.9.8.
[56], it works.  At least based on 2.4 kernel, we haven't found any 
compelling need to move to 2.6 yet.
