I've got a bit of a problem with the console... My goal is to have console (including logging and all messages) go to /dev/ttyAM1. I have the jumper set. But when I fire up the VGA daughterboard, console attaches to the graphics screen. This is not good, since I run a browser in that window.... The only way I can get it back is to cause a kernel oops, after which the console will be on /dev/ttyAM1.... Not quite what I am hoping for in a production machine.... How do I pin console to /dev/ttyAM1? Thanks, --Yan Yahoo!
