Thanks, I'll take a look at your code!

>From my testing (and looking at the schematic) I'm fairly certain you
DO NOT jumper them together.  It should be noted however that the
documentation is incorrect with regards to which pins should be used
Pin 1 is Tx/Rx+ and Pin 2 is Tx/Rx- (not pins 5 and 6 should be N/C
for half duplex).

ps...if it makes you feel any better I'm in the process of learning
how to 'restore the world' after a bungled attempt to run Apache-php5
and Sqlite3
