I have not seen this problem on my TS-7250 board but I have seen it on
my laptop when I plug in a GPS receiver. The same receiver works
perfectly on the TS-7250.

I got it to work by plugging a USB 2.0 hub into the laptop, and plugging
the GPS receiver into that. I have no idea why this worked but it's
worth a try!
