Subject: | [ts-7000] redefining ISA interface? |

Is it possible to redefine the ISA interface on this card so that it runs faster? I'd like to hook up a non-PC/104 card (fpga) that can run much faster than the ISA rate. The processor seems to support memory speed R/W on this bus, but it must be slowed down somewhere on the card. I'm not an expert on this processor, but it appears that the memory range defined for ISA transfers can be programmed with wait states. Has anyone tried to speed up this interface at the cost of reducing the compatibility with PC/104 cards (but retaining the pinout)? It seems that would be very useful, given that no PC/104 plus version of the card exists. Any comments would be appreciated. Yahoo!
