Hi
Try using ppp configured for your serial line. This is the "normal" way of
getting TCP/IP on a serial port. Remember to turn of any console activity,
in inittab, on the serial port you intend to use.
There are many howtos etc on the web for configuring ppp on a serial port.
You may need additional execs from the debian build for full ppp support.
