The debian256-10-27-2005 tarball uses ts9 modules where you are using a ts8
kernel.
You could just use the debian-5-6-2005 tarball
(ftp://oz.embeddedx86.com/downloads/Linux/ARM/debian256-5-6-2005.tar.bz2) as it
has
ts8 modules, or you could compile the ts9 modules.
