Ok, got into my root account on my TS-7250, and attempted to fire up
the USB drive.
do the scripts...
and ..nothing.
Got some of the following:
culating module dependencies... depmod:
/lib/modules/2.4.26-vrs1-cirrus-1-2-1
-ts8/x is not an ELF file
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in
/lib/modules/2.4.26-vrs1-cirrus-1-2-1-ts8/kern
el/drivers/net/ppp_deflate.o
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in
/lib/modules/2.4.26-vrs1-cirrus-1-2-1-ts8/kern
el/drivers/usb/catc.o
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in
/lib/modules/2.4.26-vrs1-cirrus-1-2-1-ts8/kern
el/drivers/usb/usbnet.o
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in
/lib/modules/2.4.26-vrs1-cirrus-1-2-1-ts8/kern
el/fs/cramfs/cramfs.o
which doesn't sound good to me. Have I walked into some kind of kernel
mismatch.
I had written all kinds of notes on this puppy , and those got left
behind in the dying hulk of a company I used to work for.
I would really like to get into the swing of these beasts.
I seem to recall , from off messages from Jesse Off that the 7250
would probably thrive on a switch to NetBSD.
Anyways, I would like to use this USB Disk, even if it was free...
