Hi All,
I got my hands on the TS-7200 board today, and I found that the name
resolution is not working as it should. I edited the /etc/resolv.conf
to no avail. Even if I use dhcp, and the dhcp client creates the
/etc/resolv.conf correctly, all the commands using a host name instead
of the IP, gets me the "Unknow host" error (ping, ftp,etc). But the
error come instantly (no lookup was ever made). Everything works if
using an IP address.
If I boot DEBIAN from the development flash card, the name resolution
works fine. The problem is only with the on-board flash linux.
I made a search in the net and I only got a few messages with name
resolution problems in Busybox, but no solution.
The board came , and the only file I edited was /etc/resolv.conf and
the /etc/sysconfig/ifcfg-eth and /etc/sysconfig/network_cfg.
Thanks for any help!
