I power my TS-7200, with ADC option, with a 8-18v -> 5v DC-DC switch mode.
With such a set up I'd put a suitable resistor in the 8-18v power line
and connect each end of the resistor (via suitable Potential dividers to
scale the voltage) to 2 inputs on the ADC option.
>From the 2 Voltage measurements and a little calculation you can get what
you need.
