In the function build_a_config(), inside the autobuild_for_customer file, add the line 'make menuconfig' just before make dep. In your linux source tree type ./autobuild_for_customer Now you should have a config menu . Choose 'File system' and enable Ext3 journalling file system. Exit, exit and save kernel config.
