Doug,
Just wondering if anyone got the firecracker to work on COM1 (ttyAM0)
COM2 doesn't have RTS/DTR. It has only one output, Tx.

The interface is simple enough to the firecracker: DTR and RTS.
I'd seen that site (or something like it) and programmed a PIC16F73 to send
house/unit signals to the firecracker.
Right now the PIC is attached to COM2 and waits for house/unit commands.

Making the firecracker work directly with the 7250 probably requires another
serial
port, like the TSER 1 expansion board, which has all the RS232 lines. COM1 is
the only port with RTS/DTR.

Porting the flipit program : no problem. Turn off the getty on COM1.
Still no work.
