[ts-7000] Aargh! How do I fsck the USB drive?

I have a TS-7250 with the Technologic developer's kit - Debian Linux on the 
USB drive. When I start Deb, I get a message, "EXT-fs warning: mounting 
unchecked fs. running e2fsck is recommended."

In the past, chroot'ing into Debian has automatically run fsck when it 
detected an unchecked filesystem. Now it doesn't. I don't remember changing 
anything to disable the fsck, but it's entirely possible that I did.

I shouldn't run fsck on a mounted filesystem in Debian, correct?

It appears BusyBox has no fsck, so I can't check the USB drive in TS-Linux.

What the heck am I supposed to do?
