Hi all,
Been havin some issues with serial accesses and maybe someone has
experienced something similar.
>From fresh boot, I want to use the serial port to talk to a device at
a lower baud rate (19.2k). Currently, I use a "su -c chown butteris
/dev/ttyAM1" command to get control of the port. I have tried to use
setserial to alter the baud rate, but it does not seem to work
consistently. If I use minicom, I can sometimes get it to switch baud
rates, but then it switches back to 115k right in the middle of a
terminal session. My last "success" was to enter minicom with my
default settings at 19,2k. I could then use my shell script to talk at
the right baud rate. A short time later (and without any warning), my
baud rate changed to some weird rate and my shell script did not work.
I am not running any other programs (than the "stock" board and see no
reason for this change.
minicom is 19,2k no HW handshake; no sw handshake.
Any help would be appreciated and I hope it is something simple.
Thanx,
Jamey
