Hi Andy,
I tried the +pap and then pppd did not launch at all. I removed the
ipcp-accept-local but that did not make any difference.
One embaressing question; Who is it that ts7200 does pap and IPCP
with? Is it with the Multitech GPRS modem or is it with my service
provider? I guess I do the PAP with my service provider and the GPRS
modem just acts as a router in between my wireless provider and
TS7200. But how about IPCP? I am confident that as a result of
atd*99***1# my GPRS IP Stack has allready an IP address. So I assume
that the modem will either give me another IP address through IPCP?
Or when I talk with IPCP am I actually talking with the Wireless
Service Provider? So is it the Wireless provider that will give
TS7200 and GPRS modem IP addresses?
Now on the Modem specification there are some AT commands to assign
a PPP IP address to the modem, and to the peer(TS7200). I did these
still no luck. Even when I make the TS200 request that specific IP
address the LCP link shut down.
Ohh Crappp....
