Hello,

I'm trying to get my webcam to work under 2.6.31:

Hardware:
Logitech QuickCam Notebook Pro (Philips SAA8116) 046d:08b1
Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) USB UHCI Controller

It's plugged into a separate bus (otherwise isoc_init() returns ENOSPC
for lack of bandwidth).

pwc version: 10.0.13 (came with the kernel)

kernel says upon plugging:
usb 6-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 5
usb 6-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
pwc: Logitech QuickCam Notebook Pro USB webcam detected.
pwc: Registered as /dev/video0.
input: PWC snapshot button as
/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.1/usb6/6-2/input/input31

The viewer in camstream says (among other stuff):
D: Philips webcam detected, enabling extensions
VIDIOCPWCSSHUTTER: Broken pipe
and then hangs

xawtv says:
WARNING: No DGA direct video mode for this display.
/dev/video0 [v4l2]: no overlay support
v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway
v4l2: oops: select timeout
And then hangs

What now? I'm at my wit's end.
