I'm a beginner astroimager, and i use webcam to get

led of my toucam II to achieve this objective. I'm a
windows user (as most of astroimagers, often more
interested in astronomy than in informatics) and so i
can not use pcw, but only windows drivers. Could you
suggest any idea to control led activity? Thak you for
your attention

I have done this to a toucam I (under linux), and it
effectively allows a control of long exposure time
without additionnal cables (parallel or rs232 port). As
far as hardware is concerned there is probably no
difference with toucam II. Concerning the driver, I now
people have tweaked a lot with the eprom content and
have been able to control a lot of things via usb under
Windows. There is a yahoo group named twirg that might
be of some help.

(but frankly, with such a name you are predestined to
switch to linux ;-)
