Subject: | [pwc] Philips PCVC750K on NSLU2/OpenSlug |

Hi,is anyone successfully using a Philips PCVC750K (ToUCam Pro Scan) on linux OpenSlug running on a LinkSys NSL2U2 ? (see http://tranq72.dyndns.org if you don't know what I'm talking about) I only get grey images at 640x480. I've installed kernel module pwc 10.0.9-rc1-r1 on kernel 2.6.16-r6.4. I grab a frame using vidcat (vidcat -s 640x480 -p y > test.pg) and all I get is a grey picture.I know the webcam outputs compressed data at that resolution, I wonder if the driver itself does the decompression or I have to do it myself at the application side. If so, can you suggest a good simple frame grabber that does that job ? Thanks! Nico. _______________________________________________ pwc mailing list http://lists.saillard.org/mailman/listinfo/pwc |
