Hi:

I remove the pwc modules that is included with FC5 (with this version I only get a gray image), and install pwc-10.0.12-rc1.tar.gz, the new pwc module load perfect, but now I get a black and white image divided in 3 parts (each with the same image from the orbit webcam). I try to change the webcam parameters with setpwc and do4l, but nothing...may be is a problem of the software that show the image, i use "gqcam" and "QC WebCam" that is included with FC5 (I try xawtv but don't work in FC5, camE claims something about "can't solve" ftp..., and TvTime don't start)

any ideas??, may be I have to use some other version of pwc??
thanks

Mauricio, from Chili

Hi to all:

I try to work with pwc driver and my logitech quickcam orbit in my Fedora core 5 box, the driver compile without problem and the kernel module pwc is loaded correctly, "dmesg" don't show any error message, but I only get a grey image...I read something about some problems with pwc and the kernel 2.6.16...

Is possible to work with pwc and fedora core 5?

Any tips, links?

yes, use the pwc driver from saillard.org instead of the broken one
that ships with FC5.
