Subject: | [pwc] Fake Quickcam Pro 4000 - wrong USB ID? |

Hi guys, I just purchased a Quickcam 4000 Pro on an auction website. It is supposed to be new but came with no retail package or driver disk. I have got it working with the pwc driver but... I've noticed something strange and I'm wondering if anyone can comment on it. The USB ID for this webcam is: 0x046d:0x08b6 Every other reference I have found for the Quickcam Pro 4000 shows a product id of 0x08b2. I can't find any reference for a product ID of 0x08b6 related to a Quickcam Pro 4000 at all. Does anyone know if this is a new version of the Quickcam Pro 4000, or do I actually have a different camera? If it has all the same specifications / features, I don't really care. But if I actually have a different camera that doesn't match the Pro 4000 specs I'll send it back. Thanks for your help!
