No, the frame return is nearly 128kbytes in compressed format. Just
uncompressed it and you have a 640x480 bayer image.

The data returned is in full frame (640x480). I don't known if the
compression loss at lot of information. If you want greater quality, try the
new usb logitech fusion for example, they can do YUYV in 1280x960. YUYV has
more information than YUV420.
