Well, I went to the 10.0.9 driver (latest Debian version that I could
 find), built the module, and replaced the existing module with the
 new one.  When I built the kernel, I also built the module (10.0.7),
 but I guess I forgot to install it.  (Too soon old, too late smart.)
 Gnomemeeting now won't start from the menu, but will start from the
 command line (go figure).  The picture is there.  The sound is not.

Yes, that's the way it's supposed to be.  When I run the audio test,
the sound works.  The rest of the time, it does not.  I know that's
out of the scope of this list, but if anyone has any ideas, I'd be
most grateful.
