Hi everybody,

I hope you had a nice and peacefull christmas!

I have a problem and hope anybody can help me:
With the Philips webcam I use the driver pwc-9.0.2 and pwcx-9.0 but I do not
get images from the camera with more resolution than 320x240 pixels.
Currently I am using kernel 2.4.19 and SuSE 8.1. I use the program setpwc for
setting the frame rate and also with lower frame rates than 25 fps it is not
possible to get a bigger image. That what I get if I try to use a bigger
resolution than 320x240 is an image in which the border is gray-filled
between the 320x240-image and the actual image with a bigger resolution.

In the manual of the webcam is written, that I can get a video-resolution of
352x288 (CIF) pixels at 30 fps. Is this possible with the pwc/pwcx-driver?

And is it possible to get a 'snap shot' with the VGA-resolution (640x480)?

Thank you very much for yur answers!

Greetings

Marc S.d.B.
