I don't think so. A saturation of 0 gives a grey image and a saturation
turned to max gives a grey, red, green or blue image (depending on the
white balance settings) ...

Could the internal frame format be different on this model ? (model 740
for the driver) or do you think it's a software (kernel / module /
other) problem ?
