Does anyone have information on getting the Philips DMVC 300K working
with kernel 2.6.12 . I have installed the pwc drivers but it does not recognize the device.
The vendor is 0x471 and
the prod is 0x321. I do see that this is not listed in the pwc-if.c
file. And I have not been able
to add it and fake it as any of the other cameras currently working.

can you give me the output of the 'lsusb -v' command ?

The DMVC 300K is also known as the Philips Fun Cam. It has a sn9c2028 chip so I'm not sure that pwc will work with this. Trouble is, I can't find any project that's currently working to write a Linux driver for this although it's possible the work done at http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/ could help towards this.

Cheers
