hi all

I try to use my logitech quickcam 4000 pro on my linux box, and I'm
having some problems.

The setting: kernel 2.6.11 and pwc 10.0.7a

What works:
Using 'xawtv -device /dev/video0' I get a clean stream and everything
seems to be in order.

The problem:
When I resize the xawtv window the image turns black and after a wait I
get garbage. It is highly colored horisontal lines and you can see the
some kind of reaction when you move your hand in front of the camera.

gnomemeeting just crashes when the camera is connected.

It seems to me by browsing the list, that I should be able to make my
camera work with the pwc driver, but apparently I have a problem
somewhere. What are your settings (for, say, xawtv) and how did you make
the driver work with the camera?

And an oddity:
In the docs for the API you talk about video4linux, and yet when I
modprobe the pwc driver, it loads v4l2_common. Is that ok?

Help is most appreciated.
