Subject: | [pwc] pwc: Unknown parameter `index' |

I am trying to build pwc on a stock kernel 2.6.12. I have tried 10.0.6a, 10.0.7a and latest snap pwc-current-20050619-043001 I keep on getting the same stupid error when I modprobe.FATAL: Error inserting pwc (/lib/modules/2.6.12/kernel/drivers/usb/media/pwc.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg) And dmesg give pwc: Unknown parameter `index'I built the kernel modules without pwc in the first place because the release note for the kernel seemed to say that the module was crippled and without decompression AGAIN. Have I understood this right?
