Aha! I found some sources to play with at work. Turns out Gifford-McMahon c=
ryocoolers spit out all kinds of noise above 40kHz. I just tried an EM-172 =
on a Zoom F8 recording at 192kHz and picked up some nice sounds from the cr=
yocooler system at 75kHz. I'd still like to try the same thing with the EM-=
258 capsules, but this at least lets me know there's no HF cutoff on my rec=
order. I should be able to record the bats in Austin.
