Now that you've made some great recordings, what do you do next? Learn how=
to edit, filter, and produce CDs or MP3s of your recordings. A finished re=
cording makes a great gift. You can use them in art installations or presen=
tations, or just have a library of your own sounds to enjoy.

Sound designer Dan Dugan will lead this hands-on seminar. We will use the =
free software Audacity. Please install and test Audacity on your laptop bef=
ore you arrive. http://www.audacityteam.org http://click.icptrack.com/icp/r=

The post workshop is an opportunity for participants to learn how to use d=
igital audio workstation software. The workshop is open to both amateurs an=
d professionals. Meals will be provided. Participants are asked to bring th=
eir own laptops and headphones and to install free software. A couple of co=
mputers will be available for use by registrants who don't have their own l=
aptops.

The cost, which includes all meals, is $125 for NSS members, $150 for non-=
members (includes one-year NSS membership). The workshop will consist of al=
l day Saturday starting with breakfast at 8:30 and including the evening, a=
nd Sunday until around 4:00 PM. For the registration form click here http:/=
