You can initially use a bright light source and hold a ruler in the center =
of the dish pointing toward the light. The point where the light is redire=
cted to the ruler will give you a starting point for the mic position.
Try using an AM radio; set to produce the rushing sound between stations. =
Have the radio at a distance, then listen for the strongest signal while m=
oving the mike position by hand the get an idea where it belongs. Helps to=
have the dish mounted on a tripod so the axis doesn't change.
