Dear Martin, Absolutely exquisite! I've posted the tube to the layout sound group (mode= l railroaders:) as a wonderful overview and insight into the medium of fiel= d recording... because it is. I couldn't agree more that ALL sound is music. Even though we modelers oft= en wish to capture many of the subjects you might consider 'unnatural' soun= ds, a good recording is a good recording... and faithful documenting is sti= ll the goal:).
