Hello Everyone,

My name is Remco and I've recently joint this email group.

I'm a professional filmmaker from The Netherlands. My knowledge
of recording audio is limited to what a cameraman would need to know.
I've always loved nature recordings. Now that I've recently moved and
life on the edge of a national park, I've decided to start recording
soundscapes myself.

First of all, I would like to thank all of you for this great list. It has
provided me with lots of insight and inspiration already!

Also, I've borrowed some equipment (A recorder and a stereo microphone)
for the weekend to compare them to some of the equipment I already own.
I'm pretty new to stereo recordings.
Do you have any tips for me to pay extra attention to, when making my first
recordings. And compare the microphones?

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

*Remco Hekker*
