Using a DIY battery box suggested by Tom is fine with me and I am taking my=
 lead from this schematic.  Eliminating the resistors so I can run the full=
 9V power and eliminating the circuit for the roll off.  One troubling feat=
ure is the cap 5, why is it included?   I have no electronics background bu=
t handy with tools.=0D
