Kevin,

I have tried some Roland in-ear mics.  I agree that the 3D effect is 
great.  However the sound quality for nature recording was not nearly 
as good as the EM172 mics.  Nor did I find a way to effectively shield 
them from any breeze.  An excellent in-your-pocket recording system tho.

If you could post just a few minutes of your recording that would be 
good.  One hour is way too much for my rural internet connection.
