I'm still fortunate to have all the original equipment in my mouth, so I'll=
 give the bite test a go. =0D

 I think there's a lot of room to play there. I like the bungee and the hai=
ry cotton ideas. I'll have to give those a go. The #200 Dacron I'm using is=
 coreless, and has a good bit of stretch. That in combination with a bungee=
 and line dampers may be enough to cut it out.=0D

 I also talked to someone else who does kite aerial photography who's an ac=
oustic engineer, and he had a ton of suggestions for breaking the link betw=
een the line and the mics. It's supposed to rain all weekend, so no testing=
, but I should be able to get some shop time to set up all the tests I want=
 to run next weekend.=0D
