The January -March issue of the WFAE News Quarterly is now online  We remem=
ber Peter Grant who, for seven years, assisted in the formation of the WFAE=
 from 1993-2000. The latest news from affiliate organizations as well as th=
e WFAE President's report look forward to the new year. And three research =
and project articles  look at varied topics from background sound and speec=
h intelligibility; churches and acoustic communities; and Susan Frykberg's =
residency at SCANZ, a New Zealand retreat where artists, technologists, and=
