Nagra 7

I have been looking around to find out which high quality portable
recorders are new on the market.

I saw on the Nagra page that there are 3 small recorders available,
Nagra Mezzo, Nagra Lino and Nagra pico the last being a very small
handheld recorder.

The flagship seems however be the Nagra 7 or VII, which is replacing the
Ares as well as LB-types.

Even though the Nagra 7 has many possibilities and features I wonder ef
any of thos are necessary for environmental recording. To my reat
dissatisfaction the adjustments are now made with touch screens which
makes it impossible to use this machines by blind people. Therefore I
hope my Nagra Ares BB+, which I have now had for 7 years, will last.

Best regards,

Arnthor Helgason
