This is the last recording from our trip to Northwest Iceland this summer.
In the morning of July 14, around 7 there was a little rain at Kirkjub=F3l=
in Steingr=EDmsfj=F6r=F0ur, Northwest-Iceland. The drops can be heard on th=
e
roof of the guesthouse some 12 m away from the mics.
Many birds entertained us. Just to name some of them: golden plower,
ringd plower, arctic tern, whimbrel, snipe, redwing, redshang and some
more. A sheep was also heard.
There are some other birds which are not counted. It would be
interesting if listeners would try to recognize them.
Recorded with 2 Sennheiser ME-62 in an AB-setup on a Nagra Ares BB+.
