Any audio centre tapped transformer should do, but if you already have two 1:1 transformers you would connect the primaries in parallel and link opposite ends of the secondaries to make a centre tapped equivalent. The balancing resistor in the Sowter circuit probably only makes a small difference and try it first without a resistor. Sowters make pro quality stuff, but for cans monitoring, you might not hear the difference. David Brinicombe |
