If anyone's been considering buying it, Cornell are offering a Raven Pro fo=
r 25% of the normal cost till March 21 as a spring promotion.

I've been getting by using Audacity till recently, but now I'm trying to an=
alyse overnight recordings, it's become impractical to try to cope with tha=
t much data. Audacity does a reasonable job apart from the time it takes to=
 first read data into a new project, and the slowdowns that occur when you =
add lots of labels, but these things had become intolerable. Raven Pro appe=
ars to have no practical limits if you used paged mode, and is better for a=
nnotating and has features to help me find calls without having to look thr=
ough it all. Not perfect (and certainly not a replacement for Audacity's ed=
iting features), but well worth the discounted price, hopefully more so onc=
e I understand it better.
