Hello all I'm writing an article for The Field Reporter on reveil, a live 24hr dawn chorus broadcast scheduled for 3-4 MAY 2014. I tracked down from some years ago a post to the list around the time Don Kroodsma joined, which referenced his often cited phrase "surfing the dawn". I have often referenced this myself but have never found the article where it appeared - could anybody help me with that? Also, the same post mentions a nature recordists project to produce a recording of the dawn chorus looping the earth. I would also very much like to be able to reference this or similar projects. I'd be grateful for advice on either of these Thank you Best wishes Grant REVEIL reveil self-noise.net http://mixlr.com/reveil https://soundcloud.com/selfnoise http://locusonus.org/soundmap/ |
