Hi all, I've just posted a new recording made in Chitwan National Park, Nepal - htt= ps://soundcloud.com/wildambience/jungle-book-forest-chitwan This soundscape was recorded late one afternoon in grassland adjacent to a = stretch of dense riverine forest. Being mid-spring, the air was full of vib= rant birdsong with orioles, barbets, doves, magpie-robins, ioras, mynas, co= ucals, junglefowl, peafowl and many more species all calling to create an in= credibly complex soundscape. The alarm call of a large Sambar deer can be h= eard as a deep bark at regular intervals, a sure indication of a tiger or l= eopard nearby. For microphones and equipment used, see http://wildambience.com/sound-recor= ding-equipment/ Regards Marc Anderson |
