This morning I listened to the recordings through loudspeakers. The center was quite excellent in the AB-recording. The 8 figure recording produced the following results: When I sat infront of the loudspeakers, apr. 1.5 m in front of me, the sound was reasonable. When I stood up some out of phase effects were heard. The speakers are 50 cm tall and the stand is equally tall. The space between them is 2,8 m. The resolution is that the AB-recording sounds better in variable situations while the 8 figure recording is more sensitive to the circumstances of the listener. Best regards, Arnthor |
