The data sheet says quite clearly that the only two power options are to ei=
ther
use an internal battery with the unbalanced cable and no external power sou=
rce
(I posted the pinout fro that cable) or use the proper balanced cables (not=
 what
I posted) with phantom power. Applying voltage to the mic pins using an
unbalanced cable will damage the mic.

It is important to always read the manual completely and carefully before u=
sing
new gear. Otherwise, you investment may become toast.
