Thanks, Chris. I will consider the practicalities of your suggestions (I also have to have such ideas approved by wife :-0) The parabolic mic suggestion is one I would love to try out. If I could find a small, light wieght, cheap dish, I would certainly give it a go... So now I'm scouring the house for something that might do the trick. I have been looking at cheap capsules that might be easier to conceal, and I think I'll give the Primo EM-172 a try. They look like they could be the solution I'm looking for - very low self noise (14dBA), cheap, and small. I could easily conceal a couple in rabbit-frequented areas. |
